The city of Toronto is building excitement ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 with the official announcement of the FIFA Fan Festival Toronto — a large-scale fan zone that promises to become the heart of the celebration, and best of all, it will be completely free.

The festival will take place at two iconic locations, Fort York and The Bentway, where thousands of fans are expected to gather and enjoy the tournament atmosphere together.
Attendees will be able to watch 46 matches live on giant screens, along with a full lineup of entertainment including live concerts, cultural performances, international food, art installations, and family-friendly activities. The event aims to showcase Toronto’s diversity and global spirit through football.

While entry is free, organizers have confirmed that advance registration will be required, opening on May 6 through the official event website. This system will help manage capacity and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
More artists and special announcements are expected in the coming weeks, adding even more anticipation to what is already shaping up to be one of the must-visit experiences of the World Cup.
With this initiative, Toronto is set to offer not just matches, but a full cultural and fan experience, making it a key destination during the 2026 World Cup.
